Fire Procedure
All my parents are given a folder with copies of all my procedures and a parents handbook I also have additional information for parents at their request on things like potty training, weaning, child tax credits and many other leaflets as i feel it is important for the parents to have all the information they need.
My portfolio
When visiting me for the first time i show you my portfolio, which has all my policies, procedures CRB forms and all my childming certificates.
As well as my portfolio i have a photo book which has lots of pictures of the children taking part in activities and i have some of the childrens artwork in there too. References can be provided if requested in advance.
Daily Diary
In addition to this each child has their own daily diary where i write what the child did during the day what they ate. drank and nappy changes i also write about important milestones. Parents are encouraged to write in the book and give feedback.
Memory Book
Each child over 2 gets a small work booklet called a memory book in this the child can write all about themselves and draw pictures of their favourite things. I find this helpful as it helps me learn about the child, I have also completed one of these books about myself that the children can look at.
